Kitchen/Dining Area

As you enter Beachside you are immediately impacted by the large welcome area, leading to the beautiful and well-equipped kitchen alongside a dining area with exceptional views, through a large picture window, towards Seilebost beach. On the wall is mounted an Ordnance Survey map of the whole of North and South Harris, which has Beachside as its central point. From here the staircase leads up to the bedrooms and double glazed doors lead into the lounge.

The Lounge

The lounge has been designed to take maximum advantage of the views to the West, the North and the East, with picture windows and glazed double doors leading out onto the patio.
Furnishings are generous and comfortable with seating for 8-10 people, footstools and pouffes. The wood-burning stove provides a welcoming focal point and a large-screen TV enables people to enjoy viewing from every seat in the lounge.

Corncrake

The reading and writing quiet room, with desk and beautiful views. This room can also be used as an additional ground-floor bedroom. Also suitable for disabled guests.

Ground-floor toilet and shower room.
Recreation and Games Room.

A large and well-equipped facility with table-tennis table, darts-board, bagatelle and a TV with three HDMI connections for games consoles. A great place for younger members of the family to enjoy themselves away from everyone else! The Recreation Room also has a fold-away work-table for those preferring to use the space for their artistic endeavours. This room doubles as a utility area with sink, washing machine, tumble-dryer and overhead drying-rack. It also has its own toilet.

Bedrooms

Beachside has four double bedrooms upstairs. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and a chest of drawers. Sandpiper and Sea-Eagle also have en-suite bathrooms.

While Beachside can sleep up to eight people, it doesn’t feel large and can be enjoyed by much smaller groups, or, even, just two people who value the space and privacy of having a sensational holiday location to themselves. But it is large enough for eight people to enjoy without it feeling crowded. Both Sandpiper and Sea Eagle bedrooms are large enough to be enjoyed as private sitting rooms as well as bedrooms.

Because of its size, Sea Eagle can also be used as a family bedroom for those with young children. There is a very comfortable double sofa bed and a travel cot available for this purpose.

Sandpiper

The master bedroom with cathedral windows and unbelievable views across Seilebost Beach. SuperKing sized double bed, TV and en suite bath and shower room and toilet.

Sea Eagle

The largest bedroom with its own en-suite shower room and toilet. Magnificent views on two sides across Seilebost beach and towards Taransay. SuperKing zip and link double bed, separable into two singles if preferred (advance notice required).

Oystercatcher

Twin bedded room with views on two sides – one, towards Seilebost beach and the other, up the Luskentyre estuary towards Loch Fincastle. Oystercatcher and Puffin share the family bathroom, which has both a bath and a shower.

Puffin

Double bedded room with views up the Luskentyre Estuary towards Loch Fincastle. Family bathroom shared with Oystercatcher.
